While those are the ingredients in the written recipe, the best part of this meal is that you can totally customize it based on what you have in your fridge + pantry. Out of ground pork? Use ground beef or chicken or turkey – whatever! Sweet potatoes can be swapped for regular potatoes or even butternut squash. Instead of kale, you can totally use spinach or swiss chard too.
Make it your own based on what you have! Even the garlic powder can be swapped for onion powder, paprika, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

How to Make this Paleo Pork Skillet
Throwing this meal together is just as simple as the ingredient list! In a skillet, brown off the ground meat and remove it from the pan. Add the chopped potato along with the broth or water. Cover the pan with a lid and allow the potatoes to steam for 8-10 minutes. Once the potatoes are tender, add the meat, your chosen spices, and the kale! Sautee together for 3-5 more minutes until everything is cooked.
This meal is absolutely delicious on its own, but feel free to top it with a fried egg or some avocado. It’s perfect for meal prep or to serve a crowd!
