Happy New Year friends! Are you ready to jump in and do the Whole30 this January? I cannot begin to share how much this lifestyle change has shaped who I am today. I used to think I was a ‘healthy eater’, but after cutting out processed food, gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and all sugar…I finally knew what it felt like to be a healthy eater. A couple of rounds of Whole30 later and a few years of organically eating Whole30 approved meals, I feel like I finally have a healthy relationship with food.

I didn’t give myself time to talk myself out of it. I didn’t even know what I was doing really, but it was the best choice I made. Thankfully we had enough protein, healthy fat and carbs (no, not the bread kind, but in the form of sweet potatoes and vegetables!) in the house I was able to make a Whole30 approved dinner THAT night. The next day I went shopping 😉 and I’m sure I perused Pinterest for ideas too!
