LET’S MAKE CREAMY OATMEAL:
Making Instant Pot oatmeal will require a mixing bowl or oven-safe bowl that will fit into the Instant Pot. The oatmeal mix is stirred together, poured into the mixing bowl and then placed onto the trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Place the trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot and add 1 ½ cups of water.
In a mixing bowl (that will fit into the Instant Pot) like this one, add the gluten-free quick cook oats, dairy-free milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir together. Keeping the oatmeal mixture in the mixing bowl, place the mixing bowl on top of the trivet.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to the sealing position. Press ‘Porridge’ and manually adjust the time to 4 minutes. Let cook.
Once it’s done cooking, turn the sealing valve to ‘open’ (caution, the steam coming out will be very hot!). Once the pressure pin has dropped, remove the lid.
Stir the creamy oatmeal and using a serving spoon, evenly put it into 4 cereal bowls. Crumble one Kakookies per bowl and stir together. The hot oatmeal will warm the cookie.
Enjoy!
