Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray. Set aside.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the eggs and cane sugar. Add the vanilla extract and avocado oil. Stir.

  3. Add the almond flour, cocoa, baking powder, and sea salt. Stir until smooth. Add the chopped pecans and chocolate chips, fold into the batter.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, smoothing evenly into the dish with the back of a spoon. Evenly sprinkle the chopped pecans and chocolate chip toppings onto the batter.

  5. Bake for 25-28 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting into 9 even bars.

Recipe Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container on the counter for 3 days, in the fridge for 6 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
