Ingredients
  • 4 cups gluten-free quick cook oats
  • 3 cups dairy-free milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Your choice of '6 Ways': (1/2 cookie to 1 cookie per serving)
  • Almond Cranberry Kakookies cookie
  • Boundary Waters Blueberry Kakookies cookie
  • Cashew Blondie Kakookies cookie
  • Dark Chocolate Cranberry Kakookies cookie
  • Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Kakookies cookie
Instructions
  1. Place the trivet in the bottom of the Instant Pot and add 1 1/2 cups of water.

  2. In a mixing bowl (that will fit into the Instant Pot) add the gluten-free quick cook oats, dairy-free milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir together. Keeping the oatmeal mixture in the mixing bowl, place the mixing bowl on top of the trivet.

  3. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to the sealing position. Press 'Porridge' and manually adjust the time to 4 minutes. Let cook.

  4. Once it's done cooking, turn the sealing valve to 'open' (caution, the steam coming out will be very hot!). Once the pressure pin had dropped, remove the lid.

  5. Stir the creamy oatmeal and using a serving spoon, evenly put it into 4 cereal bowls. Take your choice of Kakookies cookie and crumble half a cookie to one cookie per bowl. Stir into the oatmeal to warm the cookies. Serve.
