Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 12-ounce jar bbq sauce of your choice
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl add the ground beef and all spices.  Mix together.

  3. Using your hands, roll meatball mixture into golf ball size balls and place in a 9x11 baking dish.  Will make 36 meatballs.

  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

  5. While meatballs are cooking make the sauce.  In a high-speed blender add the bbq sauce and fresh blueberries.  Blend on medium for 20 seconds or until blueberries are chopped to small pieces.

  6. Remove meatballs from oven, place in a slow cooker.  Pour bbq sauce and blueberry mixture over the top. Stir to evenly coat meatballs.  Turn slow cooker on low. Serve once heated through.
