Whole30 Ranch Dressing
Whole30 Ranch Dressing is super creamy, thick in texture, full of flavor and adds an amazing flavor to any dish. A meal prep must!
Ranch dressing used to be a favorite for me. But I had to cut it out several years ago (okay like 18 years ago haha!) since dairy is a no-no food for me. I was okay with it, I decided to just look forward instead of have a woe is me attitude and sulk because I couldn’t eat certain food. But then a few years ago when I did my first Whole30, I made ranch… Whole30 Ranch Dressing made with canned coconut milk, egg-free mayo and of course dill weed. My homemade dressing is so much better than what I remember the old ranch tasting like. I will use it on everything now! Seriously. Everything.
Whole30 Ranch Dressing is super creamy, thick in texture, full of flavor and adds an amazing flavor to any dish. Using canned coconut milk (which if you haven’t tried before…you’re so missing out!) adds a hint of a coconut flavor and helps thin out the mayo. I like using a Whole30 approved mayo, most of the time choosing an egg-free version too, but feel free to make your own or choose what you love. But be careful with some of the brands…always read the ingredient list! Next is my favorite, dill weed! I just love dill…fresh or dried it’s always amazing! Maybe I use too much dill weed in this recipe, but I don’t care, it’s mine and I can make it the way I want, right? Now mix up those few simple ingredients with a dash of sea salt, onion powder, and garlic powder and you’ve just made a batch of homemade Whole30 Ranch Dressing!
What can you use it on? I say everything, but that’s a little vague huh? Let’s see: dipping fresh veggies, adding to a salad, dipping homemade chicken bacon ranch nuggets, adding half a batch to chicken & rice and baking it, dipping it in Veggie Loaded Meatballs , add a dollop on top of a burger, and mixing with Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie . What are some of your favorite ways to add Ranch Dressing to your meals?
